Standards were pieces of wood inserted into the pockets of the corner brackets to make the carts easier to push around the factory floor.  These are reproductions modeled on originals made at the furniture factories where they were used.  Usually, scrap pieces of wood were used, and sanded down to make a comfortable handle.
Rough dimensions, approximately 50 inches long x 1.5 x 2.75 inches.
